Just realise I haven’t got the time to update my blog this week. Been a busy week. Just got back from a  trip. Tired~

My shipment from HS has safely arrived, both Order A and Order B. Managed to open up the shipment boxes  for early inspections, so far there are no damages on the boxes and the figures looks absoloutely fine. All in good shape (not sure bout’ defects yet, first glance..can’t notice any!). Will post the pics up tonight when i get home.

Also, the past 4 days I have been watching  jap-drama. It’s been a while since i watch them, not too keen at first until i was told that the series was based on a manga called Hana-Kimi. The drama i watch was: Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Ikemen Paradise (花ざかりの君たちへ イケメン♂パラダイス, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Ikemen Paradaisu) which was released at July 2007. Without hesitation, I tagged along with my friends and watch. End up I got addicted and finish it in 4 days time.

No regrets. Awesome show. Like the actress (Maki Horikita) who star as the protagonist Ashiya Mizuki. Check the show details here.

As for now, i’m listening to the OP and End theme for Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Ikemen Paradaisu. –> Ikenai Taiyou by Orange Range and Peach by Ai Otsuka. Simply great !

What awaits me this month?

Just check my email today, my orders (2 separate orders) with Hobby Search had been shipped out this morning. ^o^ However what dreads me is the opening forex rate this morning, the rate is extremely high and that is definately not a good thing to me. These are my figure hauls for the past week: Nendoroid Melissa Seraphy Wonfes collected on Thursday while the haul consisting of figmas and nendoroid shana is from The Figure Mall, collected on Saturday. ^^

I have not completely open up everything to check but so far from the looks of it, everything seems ok. However , I have already open up Nendoroid Shana and Nendoroid Melissa Seraphy WF earlier and photo shot them. (Will try to post their [pictures] here tomorrow or when I’m free to do so). Lastly but not least, this current haul enhanced my collection to another notch, it somehow got bigger in size/quantity but my wallet gets extremely thin. @_@ nuff said’

Just saw this moments ago opened at Hobby Search for pre-order. (Drooling) Another Alter release for Louise from The Familiar of Zero: Princesse no Rondo scheduled for April 2009, the first one in the school unifrom version + cloak was to be released on February 2009 (Check it here: http://www.alter-web.jp/figure/09/02_1/index.html ). I find the hair-do for this figure is awesome, not mentioning the costume and the punky boots! Haven’t watch The Familiar of Zero: Princesse no Rondo and its previous seasons yet, but I guess I should be doing so in the weeks to come when I get my hands on the series.

Pre-order price offered at Hobby Search is 6,460 yen. Wonder what will the PO price be at TFM? Again, I’m 80% sure to have this in my wanted list, the matter now is the budget for it!! (@~@)”

Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei

Finally, Nendoroid Itoshiki Nozomu from Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei is out!

To my surprise I really did not expect it especially being busy with work during the morning, that’s not until when I pop into The Figure Mall chat room and someone out of the blue posted a link from Good Smile Company with the figure name Itoshiki Nozomu . Immediately with excitement I clicked on the link and when having seen the page loading half-way.. *phooff..my internet connection went down and the rest was history. @_@ Zetsubō~

I was able to go online again after 2pm, immediately i visited Hobby Search to see if the figure is available for pre-order. Found the link, seen the pictures, as always.. I got poisoned right away.. the face expression of Nozomu is total classic, Zetsubou all the way! Without hesitation I pre-ordered it at Hobby Search, seeing that I have existing POs with HS for Lucky Star Nendoroids (Both Tsukasa Hiiragi and Miyuki Takara) which is due to be released at March 2009, making this to fit perfectly since it is scheduled for March 2009 release! Therefore I’m able to put them all together as one shipment hence making it a perfect combination for shipping. Yay!

Well, that makes 4 POs for March 2009. (Gonna post about that most likely before the end of this month xD, a fifith one might come as well but I’ve not decided yet). My wallet is bleeding!!!

Been a busy busy day and finally able to settle down to post something here. Collected my Nendoroid Petit Suzumiya Haruhi S#1 earlier while on the way back from work. (One of the main reason why I’m home late and all schedules are delayed, but i guess it was well-worth it). Here’s what I collected today (^o^)

Finally..all out of the box.. Wow! Guess what? Managed to get all the characters and even the secret version!! (However a kyon figure is being duplicate…can’t help bout’ that!)

Here you go. That’s my little reward for today. The parts and paint jobs are ok, consider not bad although I find those parts to be loose especially the hands and the skirts and legs but this does not apply to all the characters. Nagato seems to have trouble with the stand but I managed to make her stand properly. Other than that, all seems well especially with the Haruhi Secret Version as it has the best in terms of everything (noloose parts, great paint job.etc)

Sigh..it’s pretty late now…almost 1am here and I still have lots to write. Have not even touch on my previous arrivals that I have yet to unbox! Guess I’ll blog about it in time to come.

Suzumiya Haruhi (Secret Version)

Entry #1

Finally. My very first entry here… Yay!

It really took me hours in setting up this blog. I gotta come up with the title, links, creating the header and selecting the right themes for it. Luckily, Haruji recommended me to use wordpress.com as it provides simple and easy-to-use blogging tools and it managed to help me out or else these could take days (i’m a real sucker). The banner took me 2 hours to design, the fonts are not much of a problem but the position of it!

Besides that, I have carefully thought out several characters that I liked to fit with the title of my blog here: what lurks within. The ones I have in mind are Lelouch(Code geass), Shana-chan(Shakugan no Shana), Izumi Konata(Lucky Star) and Suzumiya Haruhi(The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi). But seeing that I adopted my otaku nickname directly from Lelouch (rurushu), I decided to choose Shana-chan having found a picture of her with that lovely wink in the eye in my PC. I probably make up to Haruhi and Konata later, dedicating them in soem other parts/pages of my blog.

With excitement, there are things that I wanted to post here but can’t decide which comes first. The list goes:

1) The no. of figures i PO-ed (Pre-ordered) this month that will be only released next year (2009)sometime around March.

2) Figures that I collected/will be collecting along this whole week. I’m very excited!

3) Been watching Seto no Hanayome (Brought the DVD along with Kaibutsu Oujyo) the past few weeks and finally reached the last episode of the series. I’m gonna watch it later and maybe post about it later this week.

4) Put up pictures of my current collection of figures especially my 1/8 Alpha Omega’s Konjiki no Yami from To-Loveru. Here’s a glimpse of it.
